Ready, Set, Done 4

10 minutes. You and your keyboard (or smartphone. Or tablet. Or pen and paper). No pauses, no edits, no looking back: it’s free-write time!

This is like so soon and number 4 already! Why Why Oh Why? This is called whyning 🙂

I do feel like a good cry sometimes due to the pressures of work, school and life. When I was a child, I recalled someone saying to me, “Stare closely at the ant… when you look hard enough, it will become a giant!” That kind person was trying to teach me something but at that time, I was learning what it was like to have my eyes crossed and did not quite get it.

Of course, it had to do with taking a step back and look at the situation again. Not to get fixated on something that it becomes a massive boulder before you when it was actually just a stone or pebble. This reminds me of a photo of my nephew taken near Mt Mayon (see post on Howl at the Moon).  The guide asked him to hold up his arms as if carrying something, then he took a small stone and placed it in front of the camera as he snapped this photo of him… Hercules 🙂
