It’s the night before an important event: a big exam, a major presentation, your wedding. How do you calm your nerves in preparation for the big day?
My nerves are too jittery for me to handle on my own. Only God knows what’s going on inside the shaky, messy state and can help me stay calm and sane till it’s done.
I also learned that cramming right before an exam or presentation is a bad idea for me as it would only heighten the anxiety level. Being prepared early and having some “blank” or “time out” time like an hour or two before the event works wonders in giving me a clear mind and a steady state during the process. Once it is done or over, I would be simply grateful to God for seeing me through. Amen.
