To be, to have, to think, to move — which of these verbs is the one you feel most connected to? Or is there another verb that characterizes you better?
To be simple. Life used to be simpler. Work, relationships, families, schools, transportation, cities and communities used to be simpler. Who says life gets easier with technology? The opposite is true. Does having more ‘smart’ devices and media options make your life easier? For this post, I am cracking my head to say why I feel connected to to be simple. What an irony!
Being is so important that it explains who we are, like in human being. Therefore, to be is the be-coming, the be-ing who we are and I long to be simple so that I can be free from clutter, chatter and complications. Perhaps I need to practice mindfulness to be able to free myself from these chains that bind me. So I can still be simple despite the wide webbed world I am in.
